Since its opening in Insadong in 1999, Artside Gallery has been operating under the philosophy of Side, "Art is the constant centralization of the periphery," and has provided various creative directions to domestic and foreign artists, aiming to serve as a conduit between artists and the art market. Based on its beliefs and perspectives, Artside has taken the lead in introducing various works and artistic styles of talented artists from Asia and Europe, including Korea and China, to the domestic and international art world.

Since moving to Tongui-dong in 2010, we have continued to discover and nurture a number of talented artists, and have been steadily planning new and novel exhibitions with works that are unique to Artside Gallery. In addition, through participation in various domestic and international art fairs, we have opened up the culture of the international art market and established ourselves as a gallery of international scale.

Opened in September 2023, Artside Temporarium breaks away from the stereotypical nature of an exhibition hall and presents new and challenging exhibitions, giving art authenticity while rethinking the role of the gallery. The space looks at artists and artworks with a different perspective and seeks to erase conventional notions to create a fresh shock and discourse on the value of art.

Artside Gallery aims to continue to be an important conduit and base for expanding its reach into the international cultural and artistic scene, and to continue its uniqueness through its unique exhibitions and collections of works in line with new trends and directions in the art world.
