Choi & Choi Gallery was founded in 2012 in Cologne, Germany. Since its establishment, the gallery has built an extensive art network from Korea to London, Paris, Berlin, and Geneva, building bridges for cultural exchange between regions.

Based in a two-story exhibition space in Cologne's Jutstadt district, Choi & Choi Gallery has organized exhibitions and projects showcasing the work of a wide range of artists, some of whom have had a close relationship with the gallery since the beginning of their careers. In 2016, the gallery opened its Seoul branch in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, and moved to a three-story space in Samcheong-dong, Jongno, a historic neighborhood at the heart of Korea's artistic and cultural scene.

Since its inception, Choi & Choi Gallery has played a steady role in introducing Korean contemporary art to the international art market through various projects, and continues to introduce diverse aspects of local and Korean diaspora contemporary art to international audiences through exhibitions and art fairs.

Choi & Choi Gallery has watched artists grow and grown with them, introducing up-and-coming European-based artists to the Korean art market, where only a few blue-chip Western artists dominate collections. Programs of this nature are leading a new trend in collecting, where collections are built with a long-term perspective and vision, creating a stable paradigm for both artists and collectors.
