Byungho Lee is a sculptor who constantly questions the old concepts and modes of representation in sculpture and presents experimental sculptural methodologies with a sense of contemporaneity in order to realize ‘sculptures that have temporality and are in a constant state of flux and transformation‘ in the classical form of human body sculpture. His working attitude of ‘temporality' in sculpture and 'sculpture in a state of constant flux and transformation' is characterized by three major series: 'Breathing Sculpture' (2006- ), which uses silicone and air compressors, 'Anthropometry', which has been ongoing since 2016, and 'Excentric Abati', which originated from the anthropometry series.
