Lee Ue Sung(b.1982) studied Fine Art Education at Inha University(BFA) and pursued his MFA in fine art from the Glasgow School of Art. His work reinterprets the interaction between individuals and society through tools and labor, exploring the value and meaning of artistic labor in both material and sensory ways. He received the Excellence Prize at the 18th SongEun Art Award and has participated in residency programs at Chapter ll Artist Residency and Incheon Art Platform Artist Residency.
